ArtLife Launch
In October 2016 ArtMix were given the opportunity to create an event for young people as part of Juice Festival. Having recently completed our first ever film ArtLife: Play, we decided that this would be a perfect opportunity to launch our film with a bang. We met over the course of one month with Rebecca and Andy from Team Juice and artist Bex Harvey to organise entertainment, plan food, make some interactive sound sculptures and invite other young people to submit work to be shown.
We developed 7” vinyl records for visitors to take away and we had a screen-printing workshop to create some artwork for the cover and selected Amir’s print to be used.
The night of the event was very busy and exciting and we had some amazing musical performances from ArtMix member Bronwyn whilst the rest of the team worked incredibly hard to make sure all our visitors had a fun and creative evening!
